port half open,http error 404

utorrent 2.2.1,in the detailed info i am seeing 2 problems.firstly :port half open???

second:http error 404///???how to fix these errors???windows 7 with norton.

I am seeing loads of seeders and from 1 to 90 peers.my logger is showing all kinds of connections.

network and band width are green,but i am not seeing my ratio go up.i can see logger logging

connections and encrypted handshake.why am i not getting ratio improvements??????

I seem to have solved the error 404 massage.using a different server.connection is working.I got the port half open off of the statistics window in help on utorrent 2.2.1.

originally i stsrted out with 3.4.9 beta,but there were too many ads and the stats were not working properly.it seems that every utorrent client has problems?????

half open numbers are not something you need to worry about and don't actually affect your upload.

The current beta and stable versions are the only ones we support.

working much better than i had hoped it would.this solved my http error problem..Iam using a tutorial with recomended

settings.being a newby is stressful,i am learning alot about dwnlds and seeds and how to use the adjustments in utorrent itself.

I appreciate your knowledge and have helped me quite a lot,thank you very much.someday i may return the favor to a newbie.

I took your advice and redownloaded utorrent 2.2.1 build 25154.

This was not my advice by any stretch of the imagination. That version is unsupported and your system is now vulnerable to known exploits.

If the tutortial is from youtube or recommends adjusting any advanced settings, it is not supported. Additionally, if the max connected peers recommended by the guide is lower than the connected peers per torrent, guides from that author should NEVER be used.
