mandiatutti Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 Hi everyone, it's a while i'm having this problem: i download a file then i pause/quit/every thing that stops downloading then when i restart the download the download speed just falls apart... i first download between 5 and 8 MB/s, when i resume the download the download speed stands at around 10/30 kB/s. The problem is not my modem, i already got it tested... the p2p connection is not limited, port forwarding is active (on the right ports) and there's no reason why it would limit it... any ideas on how to figure this out? thanks
DreadWingKnight Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 How long after restarting obs are you waiting before writing off the performance?
mandiatutti Posted January 14, 2017 Author Report Posted January 14, 2017 Long enough... I mean... When i First didn't notice the file was in download for some hours...
DreadWingKnight Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 What internet security software do you have installed? What setup guide did you follow to configure uTorrent?
mandiatutti Posted January 14, 2017 Author Report Posted January 14, 2017 Eset nod 32 but I didn't change any setting since when things were all good. And it never gave me any issue. As set up guide to configure Port forwarding i used my knowledge. I didn't set up anything else but Port forwarding... uTorrent has also an exception on firewall...
PiusX Posted January 14, 2017 Report Posted January 14, 2017 What happens if you download the slackware from my signature what is the result?
mandiatutti Posted January 17, 2017 Author Report Posted January 17, 2017 Apparently the problem soved all by it self... Now everything is fine and i did litterally nothing... Must have been a problem with isp working on the line... Although seems odd that the p2p connection was the only one slowed....
