"Clear PeerList" ... doesn't.

Here's what I did:

Stop the torrent.

R.click on the torrent and select "Advanced > Clear Peerlist".

R.click in the Peer window and select "Copy Peerlist".

Here is a direct paste of peers still in the list after I've cleared it.

As you can see, there are several. I've even taken the precaution of emptying the clipboard by copying a single space first. Is there some way to clear the peerlist manually?

are you connected to any/all of these peers when you copy the peerlist?

I shouldn't be, as far as I know. The first thing I do is stop the torrent, so it is my assumption that all connections are severed. Is that incorrect, or is there something else I should be doing?

Do you wait a little bit after stopping and before clearing?

Yes. I have also cleared, waited and cleared again several minutes later with no change. It should be noted that I am seeing this behaviour on not one but both of my computers - the laptop and the PC both.

I have had my DL stopped for the entire time I've been writing this message, the DL/UL rates both show zero, but after clearing the peerlist TWICE and copying I have:

As you can see, the list is even longer this time. Once again I ask: is there some way to manually delete these peers? some configuration file or something?

What you're doing is how you delete them manually. I don't know what's wrong on your end, but once again, it's working fine here on my end, and most other people's (I say most, but I haven't heard any other complaints besides yours thus far). No, there is no file you can edit to clear the peer cache.
