scott98390
When I click Advanced > Clear Peerlist for a download, then in the Peers tab select "Copy PeerList" - even with the download stopped - I get any number (from half a dozen to fifty) peers listed when I paste it into notepad. Anyone know why?
Ultima
Huh? When I clear and copy, it's empty.
scott98390
Here's what I did:Stop the torrent.R.click on the torrent and select "Advanced > Clear Peerlist".R.click in the Peer window and select "Copy Peerlist".Here is a direct paste of peers still in the list after I've cleared it.69.115.132.221:4916087.89.118.251:666270.50.211.96:6416062.150.145.15:1296672.229.242.221:5687167.183.26.34:3933164.110.237.214:6215365.25.30.227:5419661.48.101.153:8888172.216.136.251:841324.59.61.68:688184.147.254.215:2578683.139.70.39:688186.212.11.12:6508982.35.198.54:688186.205.52.117:1641970.30.43.253:22358210.84.20.9:644170.224.46.28:1831583.116.226.179:6881203.217.6.210:6666As you can see, there are several. I've even taken the precaution of emptying the clipboard by copying a single space first. Is there some way to clear the peerlist manually? DreadWingKnight
are you connected to any/all of these peers when you copy the peerlist?
Ultima
Yet again, it clears the peer list perfectly fine here.
scott98390
are you connected to any/all of these peers when you copy the peerlist?I shouldn't be, as far as I know. The first thing I do is stop the torrent, so it is my assumption that all connections are severed. Is that incorrect, or is there something else I should be doing? Ultima
Do you wait a little bit after stopping and before clearing?
scott98390
Do you wait a little bit after stopping and before clearing?Yes. I have also cleared, waited and cleared again several minutes later with no change. It should be noted that I am seeing this behaviour on not one but both of my computers - the laptop and the PC both.I have had my DL stopped for the entire time I've been writing this message, the DL/UL rates both show zero, but after clearing the peerlist TWICE and copying I have:87.203.110.116:39966219.50.180.42:3186181.106.205.150:16515194.144.43.233:2412172.215.51.238:5423681.170.35.56:33376211.31.237.127:1716481.6.224.150:55000219.156.207.204:2444682.243.165.183:6884201.40.1.65:909082.35.181.119:5153220.233.167.86:32459219.130.121.102:2000072.179.47.105:8637220.233.165.174:6000085.250.39.180:50000212.54.8.193:3245981.62.135.179:688171.213.252.82:11437210.89.132.1:50003217.126.5.35:63333194.125.18.167:1267280.250.112.40:3362870.50.211.96:6416083.116.226.179:688170.224.46.28:1831524.33.234.19:5975571.132.148.14:2681071.71.253.45:3245982.251.16.166:1550085.99.162.11:2358489.136.25.213:1525881.228.243.13:1000082.194.197.88:4329783.77.229.139:4348268.57.120.165:7719201.253.111.143:6448889.138.24.10:5123485.194.211.163:12572220.245.131.133:7001151.204.204.5:6881211.28.51.92:5834524.108.183.161:5037771.68.83.20:6239182.40.186.193:3276582.236.109.56:1628724.11.232.231:2092481.159.91.6:6269369.192.110.93:1810482.25.133.90:6553524.107.146.34:5320065.191.39.138:28237157.157.165.229:21254As you can see, the list is even longer this time. Once again I ask: is there some way to manually delete these peers? some configuration file or something?
Ultima
What you're doing is how you delete them manually. I don't know what's wrong on your end, but once again, it's working fine here on my end, and most other people's (I say most, but I haven't heard any other complaints besides yours thus far). No, there is no file you can edit to clear the peer cache.
Firon
It's possible it's just not overwriting your clipboard...Clear the list, copy something else several times, then copy it again? Also, if you have PEX turned on, the list will basically fill up again instantly.
