dawson128
Hello! Newbie here so sorry if this is a dumb question. I did a search but couldn't find the answer I'm looking for. So my question is, why is it that in my client, there is a different number for peers and seeds? For example for seeds there are 102 in swarm and for peers there are 9 in swarm. How does this number differ from "connected" and how is it possible that the number connected is greater than the number that are in the swarm? From wiki: Bittorent may sometimes display a swarm number that has no relation to the number of seeds and peers you are connected to or who are available. E.g. it may show 5 out of 10 connected peers, 20 out of 100 connected seeds, and a swarm of 3.
DreadWingKnight
Connected are who you're actually directly connected to. The "In Swarm" numbers are ESTIMATES based on information reported by trackers.
