joshace
I use Utorrent to seed over 1000 files of about a gig each. Some files are up to fifty gigs in size. Sometimes utorrent gets disrupted by a computer crash, power outage, etc. resulting in every file having to be completely checked. When terabytes are involved that can take WEEKS. It would be nice if instead of doing those forced checks, the checks of files that have completed which are still on the drive were skipped automatically. Another alternative would be for utorrent to check the first 10% of a file that has completed, and give the user the option to skip the remaining check. Since utorrent keeps track of which files have completed, I think this would be no problem at all.
DreadWingKnight
Caused by the corruption of the state file. Non-graceful shutdowns can cause corruptions of the actual downloaded data. No.
