Viper8 Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 I just noticed that in the peer list there are only IP addresses. 'Resolve IPs' is selected but I still can't see the flags or ISP names. If I deselect 'resolve IPs' and then select it again they slowly start appearing but even then 20% of them remain unresolved. In 1.5 every IP was resolved and flagged. How do I make it work in 1.6?
DreadWingKnight Posted July 10, 2006 Report Posted July 10, 2006 http://download.utorrent.com/1.6/utorrent-1.6.txt- Change: Resolve IPs is on by default, but only if the Peers tab is active.
neyel8r Posted January 29, 2007 Report Posted January 29, 2007 i've already done lots of searching in this forum & i've tried every suggestion i've found, but nothing works. 1.6 has only somewhat resolved 4 IPs for me ever (which were in all caps & probably computer names instead of domains) out of 100s of torrents w/ up to 100s of peers each, & yes, of course, Resolve IPs is checked. neither has it worked w/ 1.6.1 ß build 438, with Resolve IPs checked/unchecked &/or with peer.resolve_country set to either true or false. & yes, i've got flags.bmp & flags.conf in %appdata%\utorrent. & please don't tell me it's my router or anything because i'm 100% positive that utorrent's port is forwarded correctly for both tcp & udp, i don't use any additional firewalls, & i'm definitely not a n00b. besides what i've already mentioned, any ideas on why the IPs don't resolve correctly & the countries' flags don't show? thanks.
