spaceape
Hi,I could not find this info in the FAQ or another post, although searching for "multiple torrents" did retrieve 9 pages of threads, so I apologize if this has already been explained. Two questions:1. How do I get utorrent to download multiple torrents at the same time? Whenever I add a torrent when one is downloading, it stays queued, how can I get them to not queue?2. How can I resume torrents I began with BitTorrent tracker? I am saving the torrent to the same folder, it does not create a new folder for the torrent, but it also does not resume downloading where I left off. I prefer to try to finish these with utorrent, but if that is not feasible I will go back to BitTorrent rather than start all my partial torrents over again. Thanks in advance for any help. insearch
go to options>preferences>queueing there's bars for you to set simultaneous ul/dl. that should do it.
spaceape
Thank you, and if anyone can help with the second question I would appreciate it.
insearch
far as i know in general all torrents should 'restart' from where it left off. given you're opening the same torrent file in UTorrent also. see below for an explanation of tracker. http://compnetworking.about.com/od/bittorrent/f/bttracker.htm
spaceape
Definitely not happening because it never shows itself "checking" the torrent and it begins downloading at 0%, I guess I just need to go back to my old tracker, thanks! insearch
may be it's something to do with the extension. see how at the en of your active utorrent torrent there's a '.ut'. i used azureus previously but it was fine restarting stuff in utorrent. dunno how to change it though. =]
spaceape
Nevermind, my bad. Because I had tried Azureus prior to this I had folders for these torrents in my usual folder, but actually utorrent was using another, so problem is solved, thanks for the help! I am very happy with utorrent right now!
Switeck
Don't try to download too many torrents at once or you can end up with all sorts of weird windows/network errors.
