Ultima
Remove and readd the firewall rules.net.max_halfopen for halfopen connections -- decrease it, or use the patch to increase the limit in TCPIP.SYS.

Firon
Moer than likely, it's just your firewall blocking things.
atlasjd
Remove and readd the firewall rules.net.max_halfopen for halfopen connections -- decrease it, or use the patch to increase the limit in TCPIP.SYS.You have to decrease the "net.max_halfopen for halfopen connections" not increase it? as you increase the limit in TCPIP.SYS??? Ultima
Note the "or" I have there... Either you decrease it and leave TCPIP.SYS alone, or you patch TCPIP.SYS and leave net.max_halfopen alone. You're always free to increase net.max_halfopen after patching if you so wish, but don't increase it to a value higher than 80% of what you set in the patch... Firon
Some routers and firewalls freak out with higher values. Also, every time MS resets tcpip.sys, you'll have to remember to repatch it, else you'll have a LOT of problems.
