Not saving field size settings after quitting

Hey everybody, I've been using uTorrent for years, but lately, in the past 6-10 months, uTorrent has not been saving the sizes of the fields I've set for things like "date added, name, size, ratio, status" etc.

I'll drag the fields to the size I want, but next time I open uTorrent, they are all squished together making them unreadable. 

Any suggestions? I've uninstalled and gotten rid of any extra uTorrent files lying around, and then reinstalled without success.

I'm using uTorrent vVersion 1.8.7 (43864) on a MacBook late 2009 running OS X El Capitan v10.11.3
