Yamipirogoeth Posted August 17, 2017 Report Posted August 17, 2017 OS - Windows 10 64-bit µTorrent 3.5 (build 43916) [32-bit] ISP - CenturyLink VDSL BTGuard for µTorrent only Any time I add a torrent file to download, whether it's a downloaded .torrent or through a magnet link, it will show it as an active torrent but will not initiate any connection to any tracker or peers until after I reboot my computer. I do have BTGuard as a VPN entered into the settings, but this is something I've noticed since before I added that. Stopping then starting the torrent doesn't get it going. I do have the green checkmark in the lower right corner of the window but it will occasionally go to the triangle with the exclamation point but after I have it run the connection tests it shows green. Exiting out of µTorrent and restarting the program does seem to work. I'd just like to figure out why it's not immediately downloading the torrent.

PiusX Posted August 17, 2017 Report Posted August 17, 2017 And does it remain active until it finish?
Yamipirogoeth Posted August 17, 2017 Author Report Posted August 17, 2017 Yes, once it starts it stays active with no issues.
DreadWingKnight Posted August 18, 2017 Report Posted August 18, 2017 AVG has gotten worse and worse for system performance and system interference over the past few years. Have you tried with it temporarily uninstalled?
