thmpr
Hello, My client 3.5 build 44090 32bit, was running fine for some time. It recently crashed and unresponsive. I forcibly closed it out and relaunched the application. It then was trying to requeue and attempt to redownload all my previous torrents. Is there any way I can clear this out? Thanks in advance!... DreadWingKnight
Stop all torrents, force re-checks on all torrents, then start all torrents again.
thmpr
Hi Dreadwingknight, I stopped all torrents I rightclicked on a particular torrent and selected force-recheck then I started that one and it still shows it is downloading again instead of performing a recheck
thmpr
Anyone know why I cant force re-checks like it should, instead of having to redownload all my previous torrents?

thmpr
Normally after a client crash, it will just recheck a handful of the recent downloaded torrents. This time it selected like over a 100 previous ones, and it wants to re-download them instead of re-checking them and moving on. Thanks,
PiusX
Did you loose the original files or something? That could be why it's redownloading them again. When this happened did you confirm there was utorrent Preferences Space Allocated to the files so that it will know how much was already downloaded? If you don't do this then until it finishes there will be no files to allocated for the torrent and it will redownload them again.
DreadWingKnight
So they're showing 0% after the re-check?

I still have the original files, thats why im confused why its trying to redownload them again. How can I confirm there was utorrent preferences space allocated to the files so that it will know how much was already downloaded? I do not seem to see that in the settings. It didnt do a recheck, it went straight to downloading them again as if it was the first time.
DreadWingKnight
Then the files were moved or deleted from the destination location.

I did rename some of the destination locations after it was initially downloaded. If thats the case, is there any way I can remove that batch from the list? Select (i.e. click on) the offending torrent(s), then Right-click (on torrent)>Remove or Remove And>. Hold down ctrl button whilst clicking to select multiple torrents.
