You really don't have to torrent it just get it from AVG is it that hard? And if you paid for it already why go this route but if AVG detects licenses violation it will get blacklisted and you won't get protection.

actually My university use internet having a proxy,

I doubt that is true. Why would they use it if they have no problem. Proxy is used for users themselves not University they don't need a Proxy for their internet access. More like if they detect Proxy usage as torrent usage and block such access to their internet is why your getting the results your getting. Their internet and their TOS that you agree to-it's like ISP throttle.

You may doubt but the fact is that we are provided with a separate proxy if we use them in pc internet works if we don't then nothing works. Let me repeat, using this proxy all other internet work fine, but torrent has the problem in downloading. In the home internet where there is no proxy, torrent works fine.

Check with your university if the use of BitTorrent software (e.g. uTorrent), or downloading via torrents, is allowed via their proxy.

If it is, then In uTorrent go to Preferences>Connection>Proxy Server. Double-check the proxy settings are correct.

Here we go again. I say this once and for all They own the Proxy/Internet and can monitor what you do on it if they see torrent activity they will block or throttle them clear enough. You failed at listening to what is meant by ISP Throttle. And at home that your internet the access is not being blocked but I can guarantee the ISP will get Letters and then you will hear from them next 3 strikes and your internet will be gone. I know you seen people posting such communications from ISP Letters on here and our response is Stop downloading tracked torrents doing so will Violate your TOS with the ISP. Remember they own the internet and sooner then later they will see torrent activity and will start Throttling your internet. All other traffic isn't consider torrent so Speed Throttle will not go into effect and once their software detects Torrent activity they will throttle your Internet.

Hi folks

I updated my subscription about a month ago.  It never crossed my mind that anyone  could EVER think a single use key was a good idea.  It's right up there with fly screen doors on a sub.  I appreciate getting regular updates but using these to slip crappy 'offers' is deceitful, misleading and annoying.  That's the best appraisal I can submit.

In reality this is a very disturbing misuse of our personal information provided in trust.  I am unmoved by a misplaced attempt to earn money from your customer list and I am incandescent with rage over being taken for granted.  I have always paid to use this product because it is the right thing to do and it funds product development.  If the subscription fee is inadequate then increase it over time or {my preference) look closer at your life of product pricing model.

Links for support go nowhere.  But I did end up at what could only be described as a malware paradise. [CAUTION - CHECK THAT YOU HAVE GOOD MALWARE PROTECTION BEFORE GOING TO UTORRENT /  UNKNOWN LINKS]

1) http://corporate.nexway.com/  - Displays as uTorrent Support

2) https://au-store.utorrent.com/account_login.html - Really NexWay

I have been trying to reinstall uTorrent Pro without success (single use key), 404 error on link to a form which is supposed to email 'new' key, and an underwhelming absence of support emails.  My mood didn't improve when a support link took me to a lame game site.  It's similar to unwanted redirects to porn sites ... except it didn't have porn to distract you.

Norton's always quarantines update files named 'BUILD NUMBERS.EXE' (Pua-openCandy malware. malware). See https://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2015-032308-2532-99 .  I've treated these warnings as false positives but now ...?

PLEASE RECONSIDER THE ILL CONCEIVED SINGLE USE ACTIVATION BECAUSE IT'S BROKEN, NO-ONE RESPONDS AND KICK THE NEXWAY SITE INTO THE GUTTER.  And please stop trying to slip 3rd party software during the install process. You risk the unintended consequence of driving paying customers away.

And please , please, pretty please help me install uTorrent Pro just like I paid for.  Be nice to change my expiry date after the huge wasted effort expended in chasing this problem down.  Here is what you get while trying support:

Kindest regards

Mike (Australia - WIN 10 PRO 64)
