frstbnd
Hi, I have a question about the "Advanced" Option on uTorrent. My ISP disconnects often (not caused by uTorrent) and I was wondering if there is a way that uTorrent connects immediately to peers when the internet reconnects? I tested it, when my internet got disconnected, uTorrent takes about 3 minutes to reconnect to peers and I'm kinda impatient =)
silverfire
No....Unless you want to screw up your TCP buffer and completely kill your internet connection. One of my friends set his peer connection speed entirely too high and his internet practically stopped working. Not even pings could get through until he turned it down.

Nefarious
in my case it starts connecting to peers right after the modem re-establish connection, perhaps is a problem of ur windows? works pretty amazing here
frstbnd
I use Windows XP SP2 with all new updates until now. My DSL Modem takes time to reconnect so maybe that's the problem (around 1 minute to establish connection). I think if I increase the number in "bt_connect_speed" it will help... I hope so
