mrackley Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 I have downloaded 1.6 onto my XP Media Center PC and have tried all the suggestions to stop it from freezing. IT STILL FREEZES. I did not have this problem with 1.5I disabled uPnPI disabled DHTI set my max_halfopen to 2I have dell XPS 400 if that helps with any additional troubleshooting. This looks like a great product, but 1.6 is basically worthless if my computer hard freezes every couple of hours.

mrackley Posted July 16, 2006 Author Report Posted July 16, 2006 Something else I've noticed. On the very rare occasions that my computer does not lock-up, I will suddenly lose the network connection on the computer although the other computers in my house are connected fine. The only way i can get it to detect my network again is to reboot my computer. Again.. I've never seen this before using 1.6This is fun...
