Does The Downloading Speed of A Specific File Increase When I Change My Internet Package To The One With More Speed?

Recommended Posts

My Internet Speed from ISS is 8 Mbit.

I'm downloading a specific file with the speed of 258 kB/s. (There is no another download at the moment.)

It can goes 800 kB/s potentially. (I have 8 Mbit Package from ISS)

Let's say I change my Internet Package to the one with better speed (16 Mbit, 30 Mbit etc.)  do this specific file  which is downloading the speed 258 kB/s speed up?

Your ISP speeds don't matter to the utorrent speeds that is based on swarm and seeders and leechers. Torrent speeds aren't ISP speeds.

If the torrents you're using have many seeds with higher uploads, then yes getting a better internet package MAY (and in many cases probably will) increase your download speeds. It's not guaranteed though. Like PiusX said, it will always depend on the Seeds and Leechers of the specific torrents you're downloading.
