silverfire Posted July 17, 2006 Report Share Posted July 17, 2006 Convincing him to torrent on dialup would probably just frustrate him because the only feasible use of dialup these days is to surf low-bandwidth web pages like Google... and that's about it.You really can't effectively download or upload anything when your speed is limited by regulations to 53kbps, and then further limited by network overheads, and even further limited by having to upload while downloading.
