zagan
Just fixed up utorrent 1.6 UPnP problem. It couldn't map.The MS firewall blocks all UPnP requests unless they are on port 2869, make sure UPnP is checked for your network connection.and change the UPnP port to TCP:2869 or UDP:1900 on your router, billion routers need to port to be changed and saved to flash then rebooted before the port change is made.all will work correctly after those changes have been made. YuRi
just so its clear, you don't have to map these in your router or firewall. it just depends, normally there is just an option you need to select for upnp. As for the ms firewall, if you use it then it have the upnp option all ready there. Just tick it and apply.
zagan
On the Billion modems it's UPnP port is set to 2800 not 2869So simply ticking the UPnP box in MS firewall won't fix up the problem completely, other modems I'd assume to be set to 2869 tho some are probably in the same boat as the billion something you need to check. The UPnP port setting in Billion DSL modems is in confing/Advanced: scroll down the page till you see UPnP port it'll be 2800 or what ever is the standard port change that to 2869. bedrock
This isn't working for me I have had UPnP working fine in the past, but it has stopped working now and i cant figure out why, utorrent just keeps saying[16:06:01] Unable to map UPnP Port. But i have downloaded a UPnP Tester tool from this websitehttp://noeld.com/programs.asp?cat=dstools#upnptestAnd it appears to navigate the XML (maybe?) the same way the 1.6 beta's did and it seems to find my UPnP IGD fine.Is there any way i can turn on more debug messages for UPnP in 1.6.474 or was this extra information only available in the beta's?--bedrock
bedrock
Ignore my previous post, it was a binding issue. I just installed VMWare (and it's NAT and DHCP networking components) and uTorrent was just failing to bind to the correct adapter to do it's UPnP discovery. Interesting how it know which IP to bind to for the actuall connection. It was just the UPnP discovery that was failing, anyway fixed now...
