updating utorrent app wiped it and its now gone?

Hi, I just updated my utorrent client on the mac, and after the upgrade, the app has gone, and in its place is just a link to a web version, and all my local torrents are gone.

How do I get the app back?

If you upgraded from the old desktop variant to the new web variant, some people have been reporting problems with the auto migration.

These steps should still allow you to import downloads from the old client.
