527
I'm downloading a lot of files right now and they won't be finished for several days to a week. Unfortunately I need to reinstall Windows today because of some serious problems I'm having. The torrents are set to download to a seperate partition than the C:\ drive and I'm using the latest stand alone version of uTorrent. What do I need to do to have uTorrent recognize these files and start where it left off when I have a fresh install of Windows? Is this as simple as copy and paste? silverfire
Just point µTorrent to that folder and it should recheck and resume the download.
527
Thanks. So there's nothing on c:\ drive I need to backup? Config files or anything? This is the stand alone version of uTorrent, should I copy the utorrent.exe file or does it not matter?

527
I didn't copy the %AppData%\uTorrent before reinstalling Windows. However all the files and folders that uTorrent created are intact on another partition. Is there anyway to make my current uTorrent install to recognize those files and folders? Determination
File > Add Torrent (no default save). Select your original .torrent file, and in the dialog, point it to the directory where your 98% file is.
