Save Directory column config is not preserved

If I enable the 'Save Directory' column in the torrent list view and then close utorrent 3.5.5 build 45505 and restart it, the column is disabled. Someone else confirmed this (and with another column value) a while back but apologies I can't find that thread now.

With build 45550 the following works:

Put utorrent.exe + empty settings.dat in a separate folder

Run utorrent (standalone, default setting)

enable all columns

exit

re-run

every column is enabled and in place.

Done.

 

So, I guess there is something broken in your settings file . I suggest to capture your settings, replace settings.dat  with an empty settings file, and re-configure again.

Thanks - that did the trick.

My old settings.dat was over 1k and the new one about 20k, so I guess there must have been some old cruft messing things up.
