Port forwarding

Before, I just added uTorrent to my router's virtual server list and I got the green icon, open port and such. But suddenly it's a red icon, few connections and I'm rarely getting above 3 kB/s down and up doesn't exist. Testing the port shows it's not open.

Although my IP hasn't changed from the one I entered in the router I've decided to setup a static IP on all the computers connected to the router to properly foward the port. I'm following the instructions from portforward.com but before I go ahead.. on the instructions it shows 2 name servers under ipconfig, but on mine I only get 1 - 192.168.0.1

I called up my ISP to ask what the DNS were and got this conversation:

Thank you for calling cogeco, how may I help you?

Hi, would you be able to tell me what the Domain Name Servers are for my connection?

err.. I don't know.. we don't support that..

You don't support it? I just need to know what the name servers are..

Well, I know what the mail servers are.

That's fine, but I need the Domain Name Servers..

Oh, the domain is just cogeco.ca

No, the Domain Name Servers..

I only have the basic info.

Nevermind then. Thanks anyways..

Thank you for calling Cogeco, have a good day.

Do I just use 192.168.0.1 for both DNS server addresses?

Thanks.

lol, I thought so too.

Anyways, thanks for the quick reply. I set up the static IP and the green icon is back! Downloads are FLYING now. The openoffice.org torrent went from 80 kB/s max (before) to 1 mB/s max (after).. quite a difference.

Thanks much :)
