infiniti
Hi, I am downloading a file of more or less 10GB but when it arrived at 45.9% it gave me a error in portuguese (even that everything is set for english language (uTorrent and Tracker) that translates to something like: Error: It is not possible to create the folder or file. There is no problem with the connection, port is forwarded correctly and this is the first time I have this problem. Nobody else is having any troubles in getting the torrent. Thanks in advance. infiniti
Hi, I read all the "incompatible software" part of the FAQ and didnt see anything that fits my problem. All the hardware and software listed there dont have relation with my problem. Any ideas?
DreadWingKnight
What other programs do you have?Yahoo Desktop?Any other more traditional p2p applications running?
infiniti
I dont have Yahoo Desktop but I use eMule together with uTorrent. But eMule isnt the problem, because I already tried to run uTorrent with it disabled with no success. Like I said, I already downloaded several torrents and this is the first with problems... DreadWingKnight
Check the filesystem permissions. If they are fine you may want to check for disk damage.

Switeck
Is your hard drive formated in FAT32?If so, it's either 2 or 4 GB files are as big as you can have. Anything larger than that will give an error.
infiniti
Yes, its FAT32. This is probably the problem. But I already downloaded something until bigger than 10 GB without problems (with Azureus). And yes, I already tried it and all the main clients around and this torrent too give errors on them. Thanks for the help.
Firon
Upgrade to NTFS. FAT32 cannot create files larger than 4GB.
Switeck
You can download torrents bigger than 2 GB *IF* the torrents consist of multiple files...none of which are bigger than 2 GB. It's only when you get something like a DVD ISO that's a single 4+ GB file that you're GUARENTEED in trouble with FAT32.
