mai_academ Posted July 25, 2020 Report Share Posted July 25, 2020 Hello! Since some Windows 10 update it's no longer possible to associate any app you'd want with protocol such as magnet. Control Panel functionality is completely disbaled in favor of Settings app, and the latter offers only two options: Google Chrome or download app from Microsoft Store. I've researched the topic extensively, tinkered in all possible ways with Windows Registry but wasn't able to make uTorrent Web my default application for magnet links. Currently it's Google Chrome, but naturally it's not doing much, like nothing when I click on magnet link. I'd guess app need to be somehow "registered" in Win 10 that it can handle magnet links (MS Store apps do that). So my question is can I make uTorrent Web to somehow appear in the list on the image below? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
