kachopra
I am using the pc with the direct internet connection so i am not sure if the same rules apply... but i am getting 'no incoming connections'.. and i cant forward ports or anything because this PC is the host?? What do i need to do..thanks!
silverfire
I'm assuming you're using Windows' ICS (Internet Connection Sharing), which is pretty unreliable. You're better off getting a real router and going through that.
kachopra
No, i am using a proper router i just dont really understand how to describe it.. the main PC is connected to the router through USB right, so that means it doesnt allow you to open ports on the host - it just works normally?i am really awful at describing this I am using a Belkin Router and i have it connected directly to the desktop and on wireless to my laptop.. the same problem occurs on both, i have disabled all firewalls.. Firon
Don't use USB, very problematic.
kachopra
Okay, that isnt the point, i have no choice but to use USB anyway because i cant use Ethernet.. basically this has never happened before..... so i would just like a point in the direction of what could be the problem as it worked fine with USB>
Firon
You can still open ports on the router when you're using USB.
