Ex_Dr.Perimentz
I've got a fairly new torrent with huge swarms of seeds (>3500) uploaded just hours ago.I am connected to more than 120 seeds But the irony is download speed is below 120 kbps. The settings are fairly default with not much changes. I've tried changing some preferences but none worked so i'm back to almost factory settings. The speed however sometimes briefly jumps to around 1.5 MBps for approx. 10 secs and is back to 50/ 60 KBps. The internet is also quite good(enough for me) where I've enjoyed 4/5 MBps before on other downloads.I'm only downloading 1 small file right now size 2.5 GB. PiusX
That sounds more like ISP throttle to me. Anytime when you see a jump to MB downloads to KBps that means ISP throttle detection and they slow your internet down because of that. They have software and hardware to detect that and if you ask them they will claim they don't do that but experience has proven they can and will throttle torrent traffic when they catch it.
