I have several that got to 92% then stopped -- several days ago. What do I do? If you have installed uTorrent to a custom directory instead youneed to open that folder obviously. Here you find the resume.dat file which is the file of the current session and the resume.dat.old file which contains previous session information. Do the following now:- 1. Copy resume.dat.old and place it in another directory for safekeeping. 2. Shut down uTorrent and make sure it is not running anymore (check via Ctrl-Shift-Esc which opens the Windows Task Manager). 2. Delete resume.dat from the uTorrent folder. 3. Rename resume.dat.old that is also in that folder and remove the .old part from it. Restart the uTorrent client. 5. If things work out, uTorrent should pick up the last session and display the torrents again that you have added to download previously. Please note that this won't work if the old session file has already been replaced with a newer copy.
crusty50
OK thanks, but I don't think you and I have different main windows. As for headers, there's a box to check, then Show, then Sort, then create torrent, the add torrent. All I get when I right click is: reload page, show page source, save page as, print page, and Inspect Element. I went back to specifically look for "Stone Free: a tribute to Jimi Hendrix", found three possibilities clicked on all three. Two of the torrents just sit there and do nothing, then one begins to load - gets to 92% and stops. It's been a week and nothing has changed. I don't know about availability but why would it get so far then stop? I understand that not everything is available all the time, but why would they be listed if they're not available? crusty50
Thanks so much for your help. However, I have no idea how to get to the image you sent. I am including a screenshot of my own to show you what I see. I have tried all the buttons at the top -- settings, help, and the safe torrent button. Feeling pretty stupid right now. rafi
Because you are not using uTorrent, but "uTorrent WEB"... I am not familiar with it, but I assume it has a very limited GUI... Run/install and use the regular client if you want support for 100% of the features... http://www.imagebam.com/image/e4997b1366594046
