jivan
Hi all, For some/most of the private trackers the event=stopped needs to be sent so tht we get the right ratio/credit. So 1. Has somebody already made a suggestion or a feature request regarding this or what? If yes, then the link please.2. Any suggestions or advice to make sure tht the event=stopped does happen . Thnx in advance.

Nefarious
also most of the trackers that need that event have trouble getting the right info anyway...
Wobbud
To be extra sure that the info is reported to the tracker you can also right-click the torrent and click "Update Tracker", it's not the event=stopped command but it does the same job in regards to updating ratio data. jivan
2> Make sure uT gets a graceful shutdown when closing the program. what do u mean by uT getting a graceful shutdown. Can somebody explain more clearly. I normally just right-click & say exit as a means to shutting down the client. Is there a better way to shut it down & make sure tht the event=stopped does actually go to the server.

Nefarious
some people closes utorrent or force a system exit then sometimes utorrent cannot exit properly, just giving it enoought time (a few seconds) after exiting utorrent is fine, u normally can tell if it didnt exit correctly when starting utorrent it starts re-checking the files
