madmega
Hi, Working on W10 64bit with Utorrent 3.5.5 build 45974, when I create a torrent of 77 files, 9 folders, with a total amount of 21gb, with the largest file being 1.5gb. After 50-60% done creating the torrent, it crashes, I am getting a out of memory error. I have checked this with taskmanager, there are no peaks nothing changes, it just crashes. I've read that more people have had this problem for the last 5 years, is this a known problem? Will it ever be fixed? Can I do anything to not let my uTorrent crash? PiusX
So how are you creating the torrent? I don't recall utorrent creates torrent files does it? I think you might be taking about something different then what utorrent does.

PiusX
So did you properly name the torrent when creating it?

rafi
Better use the LAA-stable, it's a bit newer.. Also, if this is not a private torrent, can you share/PM this torrent for me to test this with?
madmega
Sorry, It is a private torrent but I am really glad this worked. Hopefully your version will become the standard edition. This crashing when creating a torrent is widely known, and a lot of people have this problem.
rafi
No problem. Still strange, since torrent creation/hashing should take very little memory.
