Hi @techster, today I have experienced another problem. Following your advise TO NOT touch anything for 7 days, so that all the thousands of lost BTT to be able to return to my balance, I have patiently waited for four days and three hours ago the in-app balance had reached to above 3 000 BTT. To my surprise, three hours later, I checked and more than 2 000 had just disappeared. You can see from the two screenshots the differences in balance, as well as my transaction history, showing no attempts for any transactions whatsoever.

I haven't downloaded a single byt meantime, as well as Increased Speed has been toggled off for almost one week already.

When is this going to be fixed? I am sick of losing BTT all the time. Please, give me some more particular answer. I really need to know how much have I earned, where has it all gone, and most importantly, when will I get it back?

Thanks

Hello, everyone!

We are very sorry for the inconvenience with Speed and want to confirm that BTT were not lost but most likely spent on torrenting.

It turned out that the Speed off toggle state works for the current session only. If the app is relaunched or there is another app with Speed launched the status of Speed toggle might be reset. The interface doesn’t reflect the actual state.

Also, we didn’t find any actual cases of BTT “lost” or “stuck” during transactions. Due to many reasons, a transaction request may be declined. In this case, an open request channel would still exist for up to 24 hours and then gets closed and BTT are returned back to the account. Many users who have been monitoring their balances confirmed the returns.

In case when the return overlaps with the spendings not technically turned off the returned amount may be almost immediately spent on torrenting.

All of the issues mentioned above are fixed and either released or pending release, so we expect that the majority of Speed users would receive the remedy very soon.

hello, too, access to the wallet was lost.
on one pc everything is fine and on the other it does not allow you to go to the page.
and gives the page https://speed.btt.network/gui/static/invalid-port/index.html?port=26222.
reinstalling client and wallet did not help. wallet TDgffNvsZKCu9yap1sGapCpKJvnmZb6XjU

Hello everybody,
I have the following problem: 5 days ago I install BitTorrent Speed and it showed about 2317 BTT in-app in the account (maybe earned from the seeding that I already had from the past). I decided to transfer them all to On-chain and proceed the transaction. Like normal it showed me that it can take up to 48 hours, but even after 5 days it still showing "Pending". Can somebody help me how to retugn them in to In-app or finish the transaction and appear to On-chain?

Here are some screenshots:

Hello @techster, im trying to transfer my BTT from In app wallet to on-chain wallet since 3 days and nothing happens. Its pending then the balance is back to my app wallet which is very risky to be overtaken.

Why is taking so long now, before it was for 5-10 mins max. Is there any problem or fix i can do?

Best regard

Please read the forum. The exchange service has been on maintenance since yesterday. We are working on restoring it.

3 days ago I found out about BTT. I am a very active torrent user, so since the beginning of the year I was lucky enough to farm a lot of BTT(about 34k coin at 0.03 BTT/GB). 2 days ago(05-11) I tried to withdraw 10800 coins from in-app to on-chain. The transaction didn't go through for about 12 hours, and then the app just broke.
"Oops. Please make sure your torrent client is running and relaunch BitTorrent Speed."-error. Then it seemed to work(05-12), but stopped accepting my password to go to the wallet and check the status of the transaction. I've been trying to get in all day. The password was definitely correct, but I did not get access to the wallet, although the dashboard (from time to time Oops-error) showed the correct statistics and continued to farm BTT.
Without thinking, I decided to reinstall uTorrent. BUT I did not delete the folders that are saved in %AppData% uTorrent and BitTorrentHelper, but made backups of them. After reinstalling, I imported the wallet, but the balance jumped from the balance of about 200 to 400, all statistics were reset to zero, and the transaction for 10800 coins disappeared altogether.
I made a mistake and the data on the coins can not be restored in any way? Are there any clues, for example, in the wallet.log files, or others in the old BitTorrentHelper or uTorrent folder?

Please, check the pinned topic on this forum and provide all the necessary information so we might validate your claim.

In most of the cases, two issues impact the state of your wallet's balance and the data.

Due to technical imperfections in the protocol extension too many payment channels have been resolved as successful and thus reported fictitious earnings that created the inconsistency between earnings, spendings, and the balance in Speed.

Also, it turned out that the Speed toggle "off" state works for the current session only. If the app is relaunched or there is another app with Speed launched the status of the Speed toggle might be reset. The interface doesn’t reflect the actual state.

The fixes to the problems are on the way.

Not so far. Just be patient. I personally think that the fact they're working on it for so long, could mean that finally we are about to experience a much better Speed.

Am .... Is this so called "maintaince" linked with the problem that btt is "frozen" and we dont earn even a single btt ? I dont lose too when i download so i assume that is somehow linked with the failed transactions and not earning/spending btt ?

We know for sure that the exchange from in-app to on-chain is down because of it. As of the rest, it's still unconfirmed whether it was a problem, or their original response with 'the market became oversaturated with seeders' still stands. In my experience when a saturation occurs the earnings drop gradually and not 100 to 0 in a flash.

I wont even comment how "serious" this response is but for sure a lot of users see that for some time their gains had significantly dropped or they dont earn nothing at all. Im sick of copy/pasting the same answer - bla bla ... the market and bla bla .... the price .... If they dont fix this project or give us absolute clear info how this algo works tron for sure wont become much ....
