strum Posted April 27, 2021 Report Share Posted April 27, 2021 The problem started when I tried to download a torrent and got the error message: “This app does not have an app associated with it for performing this action please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in default apps page.” I uninstalled utorrent and reinstalled. There were no problems for about three downloads. Then I got the same error message. I tried to reinstall again and now there is a windows defender shield over the exe file and it won’t let me install a new utorrent. Ive tried various things in Windows security, but nothing works.
