justinfiddler
is the re-check feature always correct and reliable?when i finished downloading a torrent, i used re-check to make sure i had 100% of the pieces and utorrent went through all the files and said they were 100% complete.then i watched one of them and it seemed to be incomplete, so i did re-check again.this time it said a file was only 98% complete.what is going on?in the first recheck, i had some of the files on skip. is this the reason why it wasn't accurate? i think utorrent re-checks files that are set to skip anyway, but i'm not sure.can someone explain?thanks
Ultima
Yes, the hash check is always correct, assuming the information in the hash is correct.
Nefarious
if u deleted the partfile and had some of the files skipped it's normal for it to show as incomplete
