SpamBoxer22
I currently have a Belkin F5D7230-4. With AOL Cable. My speeds vary for some reason during sometimes of the day it will not reach over 60kBs download, but at other times it will get over 350kBs download. My average upload is 50kBs+.My first question is why does the speed vary so tremendously? I am just assuming it is the traffic in my neighborhood making the speed slower at certain times of the day. Also another question is what is currently the most recommended router on the market for everything including bittorrent. Switeck
During "peak" hours, your ISP may be reducing your allowed download and upload bandwidth. If µTorrent's fixed settings are then too high, you'll see horrible speed spikes...and LOTS of lag trying to play an online game or surf the web.Check the speed graph to see if your upload speed is stable -- it SHOULD be on torrents with enough demand (lots of peers who want what you have).
