mikelinllo
the speed that comes and goes and starts to give trouble 30 MB Could you put screenshots of your configuration to see the changes compared to mine?
rafi
HDD or SD? It is limited by your HDD performance/speed plus utorrent for random writes. You can test with RAMdrive + configure your HDD properties i(device manager) for enabling write cache ("Performance") if relevant (usually for USB connected drives). I think ~30MB/s sustained is the best you can do, but you can try and use my settings file (@sig) Edited September 27, 2021 by rafi
mikelinllo
Seagate BarraCuda, 6 TB, Internal Hard Drive, HDD, 3.5 ", SATA 6 GB / s, 5400 RPM, 256 MB Cache and 2 internal HDD is WD 6 TB 256 cache 5400 rpm can RAMDRIVe serve me for these discs? I imagine that if it doesn't go well or it gets hung up, replacing your configuration file with mine will be enough, right?
rafi
You can try with my setting, but I really doubt it will help at these speeds (~30MB/s). It feels like uTorrent performance limitation. RAMDrive - as a temporary storage - can help with ANY HDD, *IF* you have enough spare RAM (depends on your file size)... This is the simplest thing to try like ImDisk . And even with htis uTorrent can be causing performance issues. mikelinllo
I forgot to comment that I use version 2.2.1 of utorrent, which is more reliable, so its configuration file will not work for me. your settings _355 file won't work with utorrent version 2.2.1 right? The bad this is no longer support but I will say is one of the better utorrent software and I use it still. But beyond any support you will have to search the internet for any settings options.
