Windows 10 21H1 and Utorrent not responding

hello, i am have an issue with the latest windows 10 version 21H1 and utorrent.  utorrent keeps hanging or not responding after a few minutes.  i have tried a clean install of the latest version of utorrent. i have also tried switching from avast to avg anti-virus, plus tried disabling anti-virus.  i'm open to any suggestions at this point, i never used to have this problem.
