Limit the upload rate to...

Good day, I've been using uTorrent for a while now without any problems, I have found one though, I don't know if it's a setting or what

When my torrent finished downloading with the previous uTorrent version I checked the option in queueing options to "limit the upload rate to" 0 to stop. I always had the value 0, it used to stop after reaching seeding goal, but recently it just keeps on seeding.

Is it a setting? What can I check?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks

No I'm not, it's a standard add and download torrent

Dunno then... have you tried clearing the settings.dat and settings.dat.old from the %appdata%\uTorrent and reconfiguring?

No, I've got the standalone executable, I'll just download the installer version and install it and remove the executable version, makes for less work, thanks Ultima, enjoy your day

It's actually less work, and more predictable (for me at least -- I've never used the installer) to delete settings.dat and settings.dat.old instead of installing over it.

Cool, I though the file could be at fault, I've got utorrent exe in mydocuments or somewhere, and there's alot, are they hidden files or not?

Start > Run > %appdata%\uTorrent

Look for and delete settings.dat and settings.dat.old.
