ajones81 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Share Posted November 25, 2007 Yes, change them to True, then check with a fresh torrent (not one facing the problem already) if the problem persists.If it does, can you try backing up all your settings (just make a copy of %AppData%\uTorrent somewhere), deleting them (or uninstalling uTorrent), running uTorrent afresh, setting the aforementioned options and then checking with a new torrent? swissarmyknife Posted November 25, 2007 Report Share Posted November 25, 2007 ajones81 , thanks, I'll give it a try, Just trying to find a smallish torent to try it onThanks for your help, will let you know how it comes alongSo far, I dont have a repeat of the DAT file in any of the downloads, still having problems playing AVI's though, I have contacted MS/Windows support, see if they can come up with a solution (I havent said anything about UT or any downloading Of any files of any kind)nothing worked, |I got rid of UTorrent, and so it will play AVI and any video files I formatted my PC, reinstalled UTorent, Nothing playedFormatted PC again, never installed UTorrent, all AVI and video files play great now, so its definately something with UTorrent Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
