uTorrent checking files after graceful shutdown.

So after every PC restart OR uTorrent close/exit uTorrent is checking my downloaded files. How to avoid this issue? bt.graceful_shutdown is set to true and doesnt do anything. I am ALWAYS shutting down my PC via the shutdown from Start Menu > Power > Shutdown option and usually pressing the "x" at the top right corner to shut the app down.

Make sure your "x" does shut it down, and not minimizing it... You'd best wait a few seconds after as well.

Yes X shuts it down and will recheck the files. Graceful shutdown does not work is what I am saying.

This reflect some Windows-system issue that you should try to find. Like - try to see if *after* the shutdown - updated  resume.dat  file is being saved (no file permission issues) , and if the way you run uTorrent is using that same path this file is in.

If Windows issue your best options is to start in safe mode and run utorrent and see what happens when you shutdown if no error then problem isn't Windows related. See if this causes any shutdown issues and then restart into safe mode to verify there isn't a utorrent check issue.
