blocklike
Version 3.5.5, build 46200 I'm on a 1Gig FTTP connection and ever since sorting out a connection speed issue, Utorrent now grinds to a halt if max connected peers is set higher than 20. Previously, I was having connection speed issues and it turns out my ISP had me on the wrong vlan. Until they sorted that, I was getting 300Mbps max on my connection. Today they fixed it and now that I'm on the correct vlan, I'm getting 800Mbps+ up and down consistently. However, ever since that was fixed, Utorrent grinds to a halt and locks up on any download. I have always had my max global as 200 and max connected peers as 50 and the client has never locked up like this. After playing round with my settings, I realised dropping the max connected peers started to stabilise things. Now, set to 20 it's not locking up and going not responding anymore, but still sluggish to respond when downloading. Any particular reason increasing my connection speed would have an adverse impact in this way? TIAEDIT - resolved most of my issues with Rafi's setting file Edited April 4, 2022 by blocklike
