Asdepique Posted May 15, 2022 Report Share Posted May 15, 2022 Hi everyone! I installed uTorrent Web and I tried to install some movie torrents using this. But I have a problem for some time: I cannot extract my torrents. Some details: I already extracted some torrents from the same sites as I try today, so I know how to do. I always can extract some little torrents, but no movies. I am trying to download a lot of versions of a same movie, so it is unlikely that no one have enough peers. After discussion on a Discord channel, it seems at least one of them have effectively a lot of peers and is supposed to work (but when I put it in uTorrent Web, it prints that they are 0 peer). I already extracted some movies, but I putted them in an external drive, so I freed some space. And after verification, I have around 100 GB. In the Discord channel I mentioned above, someone suggested to me that maybe I have a bad configuration of uTorrent Web, but without more details. I tried to uninstall uTorrent Web, run again the installer, and try again to extract my torrents, but without result. What can I try now ? After verification, he talked about seeds, not about peers. And once again, this doesn't explain why no movie torrent work, I tested so much of them... So I downloaded the torrent file in a folder. Then I opened uTorrent Web, I tried to put the torrent in, and, as you can see on the picture, no seed is detected. SergeyQA Posted May 18, 2022 Report Share Posted May 18, 2022 Web site contains only torrent file. Torrent file does not contain the movie itself, but the hash of the file and some other info. When you are adding torrent to the utWeb, the application is trying to find who else has the movie from the torrent (or just part of that movie) downloaded. If somebody has and sharing that movie, we call him/her "seeder". So if seeders found, you are able to download movie from them. If not - nobody is seeding that movie at this moment. Try later. If you have such a link, please share. The problem with that is I didn't find any other client to download torrents. QBitTottent, for example, works only if I turn off some of my firewalls, and I don't want to. So, do you know another torrent client I can try to check if the link works in?
