MarkAtHome
(I am running µTorrent 3.5.5 (Build 46248) [32-bit] on Windows 11 Pro 21H2 Build 22000.832) I have come across an anomaly in regards to Options/Preferences/Directories being automatically being created sometime during a download process. Directories page has these settings: “Put new downloads in” checked and set to “C:\MR” “Put completed downloads to” checked and also set to “C:\MR” “Only move from the default download directory” checked. Nothing else on that page is checked. I am finding that most downloads are properly found in “C:\MR”, but some others are found in “C:\MR\MR”. Can anyone tell me what I have configured incorrectly? PiusX
No screenshot of the settings page? That way others can see what is happening with the settings.
rafi
>Can anyone tell me what I have configured incorrectly? It's a bad idea to have the same path for default and completed. It can try to move something to itself in some occasions (when there is no sub-folder). Make them different paths.

I use only one directory, so if I should not duplicate directory names, which do I pick -- "new downloads" or "completed downloads"? Am I missing something in translation, or a trailing backspace? rafi
Just do not use the same path for both. Or leave the downloads alone, and do NOT move them at all...

PiusX
You should separate download and completed in their separate folder in the folder you created.
