Switeck
Ultima, your download link is to a place that doesn't allow direct download links.
Dark Shroud
Instead of using µTorrent's filter just use Peer Guardian 2.
poutnik
http://emulepawcio.sourceforge.net/ipfilter.zip is used in english speaking emule forum. In fact it is compilation of more IP lists.More in IPFilter thread http://forum.emule-project.net/index.php?showtopic=19247
µtorrent-Guest
and to give a more critic post about this ipfilter.dat hype:Read this please:http://neuron2neuron.blogspot.com/2006/05/blocklist-balderdash.htmlIt explains in easy to understand words why the publicly availiable lists you are asking for, are worthless to "protect" you against "the MAFIAA Bogeyman". Switeck
Against corruptors, the ip blocklist is reasonably good at reducing hashfails if up-to-date.You may have to manually add entries to ipfilter.dat yourself to raise its effectiveness.Any torrent that seems overwhelming in number of blocked ips is fake or poisoned/corrupted. Vike
You download it and put it in %appdata%/utorrentMake sure in advanced you set ipfilter.enable to true.I use PeerGuardian 2 personally, it auto updates unlike other ipfilters you just download and put in %appdata%/utorrent. p0rn_k1ng
http://ipfilter.dat.googlepages.comFast downloading & Regularly updating. ipfilter.dat, MorphBlocked.net, GnuBlocked.net, klite.txt and guarding.p2p
µtorrent-Guest
[...]Fast downloading & Regularly updating.looking into the baisc version dated 29.10.2006 it is ovious that "Regularly updating" does not mean accurate working. Why does this list block valuable IP ranges in Sweden of potential p2p homeusers? The land with one of the best infrastructure in high speed connections into private homes! As I said, these publicly downloadable Lists are in the best place useless because they can not protect you against copyrightenforcers and in the worst case (like in this one mentioned by p0rn_k1ng) they not only do not protect you, but also steal you valuable peers!
