Vike
Will µtorrent stop Initial Seeding and go to regular seeding once another peer has become a seed, or does this need to always be done manually?EDIT: One more question, should I ALWAYS use Initial Seeding when I'm the first seed? Ultima
Manually -- an automatic method has been requested already. And I guess it'd be better to use initial seeding, as it keeps people from leaving too quickly.
Vike
Is it better with larger files or smaller files? Or does it not really matter lol
Ultima
Well with smaller files there'd probably be no point using initial seeding, though it isn't "better" for one over the other. It's better for larger swarms over smaller swarms though.
WebReaper
If you're the initial seeder and uploading to a site with a ratio system, you might want to turn off initial-seeding. Why? Well, to get everyone fully seeded, 'normal' seeding means you may upload 150% of the file or more, whereas initial-seeding might only require you to upload 110%. So on a 1GB file, you're missing out on a possible 400MB of upload credits.
Jetwaiter
When I'm setting up a torrent, it's asking for a tracker. What's that???
