saffie Posted August 13, 2006 Report Share Posted August 13, 2006 hi there , I belong to a private tracker where everything i d/l is legal , i 've set my max speeds ect , the problem is when ever i click on a torrent file to download it , my computer goes in to complete slow motion , my mouse starts going real slow when i begin actually downloading the file the same thing happends and then sometimes i get disconnected from the net , i've tried saving the torrent file , then opening it up for downloading but still the same slow mo actions , i also have to shut down the internet pages i'm on . DHT is disabled . When i get disconnected i usually have to reboot , i 'll open up utorrent again and then downloading seems fine .i have no clue as what could be the problem regards .. spork985 Posted August 13, 2006 Report Share Posted August 13, 2006 try getting spybot search and destroy to scan for spyware. www.spybot.com. Also, this tends to happen if your hard drive is almost full and you try to download a huge file. You should maintain at least 15% freespace for windows to operate correctly.
