Auto shutdown?

I am not sure what causes the problem but two options from the Auto Shutdown Windows don't work. If I select shutdown when everything completes, instead of shutting down, the computer restarts after everything completes. The same is true for shutdown after downloads complete. I have also tried this on a computer where I had just installed windows, but it has the same problem.

Windows XP Home (SP2) (NL)

Pentium 4 3,2 Ghz

1024 MB RAM

Perhaps "wake on lan" enabled in PC's BIOS? Only a thought ...
