minnie.b Posted August 14, 2006 Report Share Posted August 14, 2006 hello,i've been experimenting with deleting the tracker url from torrent files and letting utorrent find peers by dht. very impressive, but have some questions:uTorrent sends a v: 55 54 01 da key/value pair with get_peers that I don't see with bitcomet or mainline. i realise that this translates to UT 474. but why? is there some kind of utorrent lock-in going on?also (possibly a bit OT), when i've got mainline on a trackerless torrent i see lots of find_node and ping requests, very few actual get_peers, and when it does get a peer list it doesn't contact any of the peers. any ideas?thx,minnie x Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
