uTorrent 1.6 problem - Can't see list of downloads

Hi there, I'm not familiar with all the torrent terms but I'm willing to learn so please go easy on me. :)

Been using uTorrent 1.6 for awhile and found it was the best among the different torrent clients, but yesterday I got an uTorrent error message saying something to the effect of "there's not enough space on Windows and to close other applications", while I have a lot of free space left of my C:. So I closed the other applications running and tried to close the error message but it kept re-appearing each time and I couldn't view the uTorrent program cos of the error msg. So I used cntrl+alt+delete & ended the program & shut down my computer and restarted it. After restarting I opened uTorrent again and I couldn't see any of the usual list of torrents in my downloading window. But at the side column I could see that there were still 4 torrents downloading and 0 completed, 1 active etc.

So I checked the FAQs and thought it might be the FAT32 4GB limit thing, so not being sure what my format was, I tried to convert my drive with the command provided but my computer responded that the format was already NTFS. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled uTorrent, but it still came up with there being no list of torrents in the download window but the side column stating that my torrents were still there only I couldnt see them. Strange. (I was downloading a pretty big file that's 14.1 GB in total - could that be it? but it downloads fine with BitComet & Azureus)

My semi-completed downloads are still in their folder unaffected and I'm trying to finish them with BitComet, but I'm upset because uTorrent seems to be the most efficient and Azureus and BitComet are... well not that great. Is there some way I can fix this? My com says I have 111 GB of space free.

Thanks so much in advance.

um I went to add and remove programs and uninstalled uTorrent, that doesn't uninstall it? How does one uninstall it then?

anyway Ultima I reset it and it worked lol. I didn't even think of that duhh! Thanks for the pointer, hope it stays fine. :)

does the unistaller delete the %appdata% folder? didnt know that... i have to keep an eye on to things more often -_-

but yeah "close other applications" means it is a memory fault, not hdd problem, most probably u are using an app that combined with utorrent is using too much memory, check on the FAQ under incompatible software...
