Rowan
Then here's a solution:Everytime I used utorrent, stopped/paused a download and quit the program my Windows XP would freeze at the shutdown message "Saving personal settings", because my internet connection won't disconnect. I already posted here for a solution, but nothing worked for me(e.g. wait a few minutes for the d/u speed to be 0.0kb).Before shutting down utorrent, I randomize the port I've been using, wait a minute and close down utorrent. Everything goes fine. see ya
DreadWingKnight
what firewall and antivirus software do you use?
Ultima
@Rowan: Meh I'd say you should fix the underlying problem rather than find a workaround. As DWK is suggesting, it might be some software, or maybe it could be network hardware/driver issues.
