Angry Pirate
I went to portforward and did what it told me to but uTorrent still will not connect. I belive this is because I am behind two routers. I am on a cable internet connection that jacks into the cable modem and then is transferred to a Linksys router which then sends an ethernet cable upstairs to my bedroom which connects to another Linksys router. Then an ethernet cable connects from the router to my PC. So basically I need someone to explain to me step by step what I am going to have to do to run uTorrent successfully. Thank you for your help.
DreadWingKnight
You either need to port forward the outside router to the inside router, or turn the inside router into a bridged switch and forward directly to your computer.
Angry Pirate
Ok well could you tell me how to do that step-by-step because I have no idea what you mean when you say that. Sorry I don't know anything about routers or ip addresses. But I'm sure if you explain to me step-by-step I will be successful in completing the task. DreadWingKnight
http://portforward.com covers most of the steps, but other steps must be followed on the router.
