Every time I run the test it tells me that my port is not open.I have followed the port forwarding instructions found here to a T. UPnP toggled on or off seems to make no difference what so ever. I've tried about 20 different ports, nothing seems to work.I have no other firewalls going on my computer, windows firewall is disabled. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lost45 Posted August 23, 2006 Author Report Share Posted August 23, 2006 I'm using the built in modem in the homeportal 1000hw. I did find something interesting though, if i put the modem into dmzmode and IPconfig renew. The port opens up, but this places my computer outside of my firewall.
