RonB
[sOLVED]When I click on the Speed Guide, the buttons don't seem to work!?!??I tried clicking on "Run speed test at: www.dslreports.com" or on "Test if port is forwarded properly" and nothing happens! This is quite annoying. Why won't it work? Is there a service in Windows I need to enable? Reply soon, thank you.
Ultima
Do you have some security software blocking µTorrent from opening other processes?
RonB
No I do not. Everything is enabling uTorrent, and I have tried clicking on the same buttons with all firewalls off and security software. I can't figure this out. I also tried redownloading. I'm using Windows XP Home Sp2 if that helps. Are there any windows services I should enable? I have disabled many to improve security. This would really help. Ultima
You do have a default browser set, right...? It'd be odd that you don't, but who knows what happened. Anyway, uninstalling firewalls is the only way to rid your computer of their influence.
RonB
You may be right, but then again, I applied a series of xp tweaks on to the system. I tried this on our second computer which did not have any services disabled nor any special tweaks put on it, and it worked fine. The same firewall (Norton 2006) is running on that computer. Is there any hope for me?
Ultima
Go to Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, click "Set Program Access and Defaults", click Custom, and select your browser of choice. Make sure the "Enable access to this program" is checked.
